If you are a blogger that love doing research on web traffic like me, you’ll know by now that Google+ social network is one great place to grab some good reasonable amount of web traffic. I have been using Google+ from the start of its existence 😀 and every day, I keep learning new things, you know why? Because they always keep adding new cool features that will always keep you coming back for more and that’s what makes Google plus more awesome, don’t you think?

At some time back, we discussed about the Google plus comment system on blogger blog and the benefits that attached to it. Some bloggers ask if it’s possible for it to be integrated on WordPress. After searching for a perfect way, now i can say Yes! It is possible to integrate it on your WordPress blog perfectly now with or without a plugin.
Many developers have created a plug-in for Google plus comment system however; none of the plug-ins is of my interest or a bit catchy 🙂 so I did not install any of the Plug-in on my blog but recently when I was doing my regular blog hopping, I came across a post about Google plus comment and how you can integrate it on your WordPress blog. It looked so beautiful on the developers’ site that I had to try it myself, tried it and it was exactly as I want it to be; just above my default comment box.

Before going further, I’d like to tell you that this is a plugin and it is 100% workable on all themes, even a non-techie will be able to install this right?. You can find the perfect example of the Google+ comment box plugin on this blog 🙂
How did I add the Google plus comment box to my blog? Simple! You can simply download the plug-in here => Google plus comment plug-in or you can visit the developers’ site
After downloading it, upload and activate it and it will automatically show on your blog posts. You can also set some stuff by going in to your blog settings in your dashboard and clicking Google+ comments.
And the below image is how the Google+ comments setting looks like. It looks way more simple right?
You can as well tweak some parameters, like change the width, change title and also control it on what page you want it to show.
If you’re not using Google plus to it full advantages I’ll advice you start using it. Because your site will be index 10x faster than you can ever imagine and above all, you will receive some extra favor from the big, bold giants 🙂

HI Babanature,
Nice to see Google+ commenting system at your blog too. 🙂
I’ve just been reading so much about bloggers integrating this system on their blogs, that I might just go ahead and install it over at my blog too. I think the reason I didn’t do it was because I was quite happy with the one I had – CommentLuv, and whether we should add another one, like this one, or even Facebook, is what I’m still weighing out.
I’d like to ask you, why you added Google+ here? Does it have an SEO advantage of some kinds? And wouldn’t you like to add Facebook here as well? Just curious 🙂
Thanks for sharing the way how we can get it all done. Have a nice week ahead 🙂
Hey Harleena,
Do you know that if you post your new content on Google+, it’ll get indexed immediately (10 times faster than any other process)? Google+ has many advantages (including SEO) that Facebook doesn’t, which you know!
I will not remove my commentluv plugin just because i installed the Google plus comment system and i wouldn’t advice you to do too. I feel both Google+ and Commentluv have their advantages.
P.s. Right now, the Google+ commenting system on my blog is going a test phase.
Thanks for your lovely comment as usual. Hope your weekend was great? Do have a lovely week 🙂
Great article on Google Plus comments. Thanks for these the tips. I have also implemented it but not sure how long I can keep it.
Hello Shalu,
You know if something dose not work for you, you leave it and move on to the next. I am also test running the Google+ comment system on my blog and if it does not favor me, i’ll have to remove it.
Thanks for the stopping by and dropping your wonderful comment. Have your self a blessed week 🙂
Thanks for the news! I think Google+ comment system will help good interaction among other Google + users to increase traffic. I heard that Google comment system enabled for blogger . it is a great advantage for WordPress bloggers.
Hello Martin,
The Google plus comment system is going to help a lot in SEO. Thanks for your comment 🙂
Looks like a lot of people still like the traditional system with commentluv bro. Let’s see what we gain with the google+ comment 😉
I got this set up on my blog yesterday
Hey bro,
Yeah!!! The traditional comment system infuse with commentluv is still preferable for many blogger looking for backlinks, so it can’t be helped 🙂 . The Google plus comment might be something great in the future but as you said; let’s see what we gain from this 🙂
HI
Google + comment system i have never tired it. But It was introduced even on blogger platform. It is most cool feature developed by Google. In WordPress it was introduced but mostly everyone prefers to use Commentluv plugins on their blogs. We do get very less comments by G+ comments features. In WordPress we can use both Commentluv as well and G+ but in bloggers we can’t use this feature 🙂
Hello Srikanth,
Using Google+ comment system on your wordpress blog doesn’t stop you from using the commentluv. As you can see i am using both on this blog.
You can use both the native comment system and Google plus on blogger platform all you just need is some code to make it work. Thanks for your comments bro and do have a nice week 🙂
Hi Baba,
Thanks for this wonderful tutorial. Anybody interested to implement Google+ comment system can do it very easily with referring to your tutorial.
However, I could not suggest my followers to remove their native comment system and use Google+ comment instead. There are some points to consider before you make the switch which I’ve discussed in my recent post. Please find the link to the post in my commentLuv link.
Hello Suresh,
I wonder why bloggers adding the Google+ comment system would remove the native comment system or the commentluv! I implemented it without removing my commentluv or my native comment system. The thing is, it is great leaving both so your commentators can have a choice when commenting.
Yes, having both systems till you can decide which one goes with your blog permanently is definitely good. But I don’t think two systems will go together for really long time. Won’t it be redundant?
The thing is, i don’t know about others but i am a fast analyzer so if it doesn’t favour me, i’ll remove it without thinking twice but now bro, i am just testing 🙂
This is indeed a very good news for wordpress blog owners . As this is a property of Google , you might expect your blogs to be indexed faster by Google . But i personally feel that comment luv is irreplaceable .. Thanks for sharing the info Baba !!
Best Regards from PRAMOD
Hey Pramod,
Google+ comment system and commentluv are two different system and both of them should be used so it’ll give you even more benefits.
By enabling this feature which will not only help the bloggers in comment but also to get additional traffic through google iplus
Regards
Hello Siddartha, aside from the traffic, it also has some serious seo benefits every bloggers should look into.
I like Com Luv Babanature but I see benefits to using Google Plus’ system…namely, ease of use and of course you can build your presence quickly on that network. Thanks!
Well said Ryan, do have a lovely week ahead bro…
I knew this had been released Babanature and I read another post about this earlier as well but I’m not going to be integrating it on my blog. To me, one system is enough.
I actually hate the fact that I have to keep scrolling down to find the other commenting system. I know you want it so that you’re stuff will be indexed faster but here’s the question I always have.
Who owns those comments, you or Google? I’m thinking it’s definitely Google so to me, that’s just not worth it.
Thanks for reporting about it though because I see a lot of people integrating this now at their place. It’s always good to be informed.
Have a great week.
~Adrienne
Hello Adrienne,
You really this strike out one big question there 🙂 Well, i might not put the Google+ comment system for long because i am only test running it to see how it goes and in some weeks time, i’ll know if i’ll keep it or remove it. Life is all about trying out new things, right? Thanks for your lovely comment and what to also think on. do have a fabulous week ahead…
I read Enstine post on this I have to say the same thing hear. I pretty much going to stick with commentluv for now. I can see the SEO advantages to G+ comment plugin, but I like the fact that commentluv shows last post of your commenters. I don’t see this in G+ plugin. Thanks for sharing Babanature
Hello Sherman,
You can have the native comment system and as well as the google plus comment system and it won’t bring any arm to your blog. It only gives your readers more comment options to choose from… 😉 Thanks for stopping by and dropping such lovely comment 🙂
It’s interesting to watch some bloggers start applying G+ comment on their blog (and remove the comluv).
I guess I am happy enough with the existing comluv on my blog, thus I’ll keep watching the progress on G+ comment (Will it affect on blog SEO? Just wonder)
Yeah Okto, so many bloggers who have added the G+ comment to their blog do remove their commentluv, but the truth is, i don’t know why they remove it. I’ll stick with my commentluv bro while i test run my g+ comment 🙂
Wow, this is really nice for wordpress users, but personally i don’t like the google plus comment system. It makes bloggers loose traffic and comment. Because it doesn’t work on low-end mobile devices, so what’s the essence of installing these comment system since 75% of internet surfers uses mobile phones?
Hello Victor,
75% of internet users use mobile phones but nobody uses java phone anymore. The phones that are in Vogue are android and ios and the Google plus comment system is showing on all this phones. For me, i am just testing mine to see how it works. Thanks for stopping by bro…
This is very nice and it’ll serve as an alternative to blog comment but hopefully Google + comment will be integrated to blogspot soonest?
It was first introduced to blogger blog platform before the wordpress blog.
Hi Babanature,
I see your point on the advantage of being indexed via Google but I agree with Adrienne it’s a bit awkward having two commenting systems going at the same time.
Keep us up to date on how this is working for you. I’m intrigued but not totally convinced.
Here’s a question…if you use a ping service doesnt’ that get you indexed faster? The G+ share is also working great to get content ranked…would these 2 things add up to the same result as G+ commented?
Thanks..looking forward to your answers.
Tonya
