  1. Hi Babanature,

    Awesome indeed 🙂

I liked the way you shared these top 7 social buttons with us and talked briefly about what each one is good for. Yes, I was using DiggDigg initially because I wanted a floating one for my post – guess why? That’s because my posts often turn a little longer than expected so with a floating bar anyone who wants to share my posts, doesn’t have to go up or down the post. But I changed because it started giving problems.

Presently the one I use is similar and it also comes right down till the comment section so that makes sharing much more easier for my readers. I also like to have FB share and Pinterest, so ShareBar caters to all of those, and Buffer as well. I don’t think you can find all of these together in one button, unless you use the codes to add up. Either ways, to each their own.

Thanks for sharing. Have a nice weekend 🙂

    1. Hello Harleena,

All of them are famous and work great ! I have used sharethis on my blog before i started using Digg Digg . I didn’t know that sharethis had the capability to detect and track someone who have copied the blog post . Thanks for sharing the information Baba !

    1. Hello Pramod,
Yeah! sharethis can do all that and more in there latest update. Dig dig is also a brilliant choice as well.
Thanks for the comment and hope you have a brilliant weekend start 🙂

  4. Hey Babanature,

There are so many different ones we can chose from these days aren’t there!

I use to use Digg Digg for the longest time but at times it was very unreliable. There wasn’t as much selection a few years ago as there is now but of course I’m supporting my amazing blogging friend and savior, Ashvini, by using his fabulous social sharing plugin, Share Juice Pro.

Yes, it is a paid plugin but it’s more then just social sharing buttons. You can place them anywhere on your blog you want, you can design your own buttons if you want, it includes the PinIt button that actually works, he’s included the author bio box and the most recent update is the open graphics for pulling the “right” image in for your post on the social platforms. No more hassle!

I know most people still prefer free and there are a lot of great things about free plugins so I say use the ones you like the most.

Great job with sharing these seven Babanature and you should make their selection much easier now.

    ~Adrienne

    1. Hello Adrienne,
Yes, i wanted to add the share juice pro to the list but since i haven’t used it before and i don’t know how it works or the features it posses, That’s why i didn’t mentioned it. 5. Take a look at WPBeginner Social Floating plugin, it’s a good one, using socialite.js to make sure the loading of the social buttons do not impact your site loading speed. However, in terms of features, I still use and prefer Digg Digg.

  10. Hi Babanature,

Awesome list of social sharing plugins. Some of them I’ve never heard of and did not know that there were so many.

How is one supposed to choose which one to use? It seems like so many people prefer Dig Dig. I may have to check that one out, especially since it has other features than just sharing.

I have to admit though having the social share buttons on my site has definitely gotten me more shares. Thanks for taking the time to share this post, have a great weekend.

    1. Hello Susan,

  11. Thanks for this awesome post Baba nature!

You have given a great list of social plugins. Recently, I started using floating social bar. Now I want to add one more to the list. Each of your plugin feature is attracting me and not able to choose which to install.

Please suggest me which plugin should I go for as a start?

    1. Hello Vinay,
Glad you find the post good enough to comment :). I would suggest you use Dig Dig and if you want to track down people who’s sharing and copying your blog contents, i will also suggest Sharethis.
Hope you do understand… Thanks for stopping by and do have a wonderful weekend

  12. Nice list. You mentioned a good way to improve beauty of blog, stay away from spammers and the best part that I like: “Downloading links of these buttons.”
One can easily download now these buttons.
    Thanks for sharing this information.

    1. Most welcome Shailesh,
We all know that social share plugin is very important to our blog so picking one from the most popular ones are the wise steps to take.
Thanks for the comment and do have a nice week ahead 🙂

  13. I haven’t tried any of these yet. At the moment I have a few social sharing buttons manually coded into my theme (single post I believe). I do like the appearance of the flare one though.

Someone told me a while back that some of the floating social share plugins don’t scale well with other screen resolutions. I don’t know if that is true or not. I do know that on a few occasions the floating social bar types do appear in a location that hinders my ability to read an article, which is part of the reason why I put the sharing buttons in article instead. One of these days I will test out the Flare plugin though.

    1. Hello Ray,
Hand coding is indeed a good way to reduce your blog load time. And if your share buttons works beautifully for you, no need using another social share plugin (my humble opinion).

You know, I am using the Dig Dig float share plugin and to my understanding, it fits all screen resolutions because nobody has complained about it. You can see for your self that it is placed well :). The flare and Dig Dig are okay and they do float well… you should definitely try them out.

Thanks for stopping by and dropping this beautiful comment, do have yourself a beautiful week ahead 🙂

  14. Hey Babanature,

This is an impressive list of social share button plugins and widget you have here. I actually use Flare and Sexy Bookmarks, but what really impress me was the Share This plugin. I’ve heard of it before, but didn’t know it had all those features you mentioned. This would be great for analyzing the traffic that you get and for securing your blog from those “copy cats”. Thanks for the share!

    1. Hello Sherman,
Flare and sexy bookmark is great indeed and they perform wonders indeed :). Yeah! Sharethis can do all that and even do more. I like it because of the copyright feature it has.
Most welcome. Thanks for stopping by and dropping a comment. do have a nice week ahead 🙂
